It was certainly a wedding, yes.

No. Actually, I was pretty sober through a good portion of it.
I think I only really started having a drink or three after the bouquet was thrown into my face.
By the way, the bride is usually supposed to throw the bouquet, not the groom.
Unless you're the groom. I'd hate to make assumptions with how you two wanted to handle that.
