[ Nanami continues methodically cleaning Wriothesley's body, smiling to himself when the boxer's eyes drift closed. He can sleep like that, soaking in the warmth and the patient strokes of soft cloth and strong fingers running over his body, gently rubbing around his nipples and down his stomach to wipe away the sweat and tension. The smile slips away when he notices the other's eyes opening, retreating like a sky thing all its own, afraid of being seen.

He would like Wriothesley to stay. What if he could keep him? Have someone close who wouldn't be afraid of him?

But Nanami's ears go back as reality weighs them down again. After a night's rest, it was more likely that the boxer would realize what he really let touch him and would remember that humans avoid creatures like him. There's a good reason Nanami usually doesn't let anyone see his beast form. He's only slipped a few times in his life, and the luckiest he's been was when the other person convinced themselves it was a dream.

It's better to enjoy the moment and not expect anything after it. Nanami looks down at Wriothesley softly, taking in his appearance, lying so peacefully in the water. He looks comfortable and at ease, and Nanami commits that image to his memory, in case he won't get to see it again. ]

Hold onto me. I need to make sure you're all right.

[ He lifts Wriothesley's arm over his shoulders, pulling him up enough to support him so he can slip his hand between his legs and rub gently against his hole. After all that use, Nanami knows he must be sensitive, but he also wants to finish getting him completely clean. And all the while, he can't help but wag his tail, enjoying the way Wriothesley trusts him to hold and protect them. ]
